Valuations Manager / VP (Private Investments) (Hybrid)
A global financial services company, located in Boston, is actively seeking a seasoned 7-10+ year valuations/accounting professional to join their team! This person will be responsible for owning and executing the valuations process for private and complex securities across multiple funds. The ideal profile is coming out of a Valuations-focused firm or has public accounting experience and private credit experience. Responsibilities and Qualifications:
- Responsible for documenting valuation procedures for financial reporting and audit purposes
- Develop and enhance the valuations process
- Analyze market data and work closely with third party vendors
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field required
- Must be willing to work on a hybrid model (4 days in office)
- Financial services experience (valuations, public accounting or private credit experience) required
- 7-10+ years
- CPA/CFA or MBA a plus
- Experience auditing or preparing valuations securities required
