We have an incredible opportunity for an experienced Senior HR, People + Culture Consultant (est. 24-30 hrs per week/negotiable) for our client based in Lowell who is on the front-lines of creating a COVID-19 test that will providepractically instantaneous and extremely accurate results. This company is emerging with an entire platform of products beyond C-19, which makes this an incredible opportunity for someone that can hit the ground running with employee relations, performance and HR management.


  • Immediate opening for a Manager-level People and Culture Business Partner.
  • As the Business Partner you will play an integral part of a cross-functional, smaller team set to grow very fast and supporting transformative change.
  • The ideal candidate will be a clear, confident communicator with experience in internal communications and project management on the brand side.
  • In this role, you will be responsible for the delivery of people related services across the team in Lowell.
  • This is an exciting opportunity to collaborate with leadership and employee base delivering innovative, strategic solutions to drive performance and results.
  • As aBusiness Partner you will have the opportunity to make an impact in the areas of organizational structure/design, talent management, employee relations, learning & development, process implementation, and other areas of HR.

How you will make an impact:

  • Partner with leadership to execute a defined people strategy in alignment with business priorities and strategy.
  • Provide coaching and support to managers and leaders throughout the organization.
  • Support the implementation of workforce and success plans across company, ensuring that we are proactively developing theworkforce.
  • Champion Diversity & Inclusion efforts and provide support for initiatives aimed at fostering an enriching, inclusive employee experience.
  • Support the talent review and performance management processes, including advising managers on development plans to accelerate and enhance employee performance.
  • Provide front-line support for Employee Relations issues, including responding to Employee inquiries, supporting internal mobility and guiding managers through employee performance issues and managed exits.

Qualifications/About your skills and experience:

  • 5-10 years' experience supporting corporate-wide HR functions.
  • Employee Relations experience, particularly in engaging with and coaching managers on a variety of matters with an orientation toward creative problem solving.
  • Solid understanding of implementing Learning & Development initiatives to advance the business and employee experience.
  • Passion for and experience working in a highly collaborative environment.
  • Able to navigate ambiguity and play triage for a fast emerging biotech.
  • Strategic and analytical approach to solving problems and developing and driving programs.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and adaptable to change.
