Senior Investment Operations Analyst – Private Credit – Minneapolis, MN
A top global asset management firm in Minneapolis, MN, is looking for a Senior Private Credit Operations Analyst to join their team. This role plays a key part in managing the operational functions of the firm's private credit investments. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in private credit operations and a strong eagerness to deepen their expertise in the private credit sector.
This is a full-time, permanent position offering a base salary of $95,000–$100,000, along with a performance-based bonus. The role follows a hybrid work model, requiring three days onsite per week in Minneapolis, MN.
Responsibilities:

Manage operational workflows throughout the private credit lifecycle, from deal execution to loan payoff.

Oversee private credit loan administration, ensuring accurate transaction booking and data management.

Act as the primary point of contact between the firm and custodian banks for private investments, coordinating closings, settlements, and post-settlement activities.

Partner with investment and legal teams to facilitate transaction management, deal closings, and amendments.

Resolve settlement issues, payment discrepancies, and operational challenges by working closely with fund administrators, custodians, and agency teams.

Support trading teams with security setup, trade compliance, and execution workflows.

Monitor regulatory requirements and investment guidelines to ensure compliance across multiple asset classes.

Maintain data integrity by ensuring accuracy and consistency of private market data across internal systems.

Represent private credit operations in cross-functional projects and firm-wide initiatives.
Qualifications:

A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or Computer Science.

At least 5 years of experience in private credit operations with a deep understanding of the private credit lifecycle.

Expertise in reviewing private credit loan documents, including credit agreements, amendments, and payoffs.

Strong technical skills, particularly proficiency in MS Excel and handling large data sets.

Excellent problem-solving abilities, along with strong time management and organizational skills.

A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and drive process improvements.
