Senior Corporate Accountant (AP)
A well-established private equity firm is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join their corporate finance team. The firm is seeking a professional who has a strong understanding of accounts payable, specifically cash settlement & reconciliations, banking, foreign currency, and treasury. Additional responsibilities include vendor maintenance and cash management and performing related accounting activities to ensure timely and accurate vendor and payment processing. This is a hybrid in-office position and the firm is willing to pay up to $95k on a base plus bonus.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Perform daily/ weekly AP Reconciliation

Review and resolve unreconciled payments

Coordination with Legal for new contracts to ensure in place for all paid invoices

Perform banking and tax validations

Research and resolve vendor refunds

Reviews cash positions prior to bi-weekly pay-cycles and adjusts currency requirements as necessary

Researches any returned payments and resolves
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree with a major in Accounting or Finance

Minimum of five years of professional accounting experience

Prior treasury management system experience preferred

Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting principles and financial reporting concepts

Highly proficient in using Excel, Word, and other Microsoft office programs
