Senior Accountant – Manufacturing – Leominster, MA – Salary up to $105k
The Senior Accountant will play a crucial role on the finance team, overseeing A/R, cash forecasting, inventory reporting and analysis, and assisting with the month-end close process.
Responsibilities:
- Manage A/R, including identifying, researching, and resolving invoice and payment discrepancies.
- Communicate with customers to resolve payment issues and disputes.
- Assess and establish creditworthiness for new and existing customers.
- Develop and maintain cash flow projections.
- Perform detailed inventory reporting and analysis.
- Support month-end close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Conduct transfer price analysis and support inventory reconciliation.
- Assist with internal and external audits.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, at least 5 years of accounting experience.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and cash flow forecasting.
- Experience with general ledger reconciliation and journal entries.
- Manufacturing experience is preferred.
