Senior Accountant
A leading asset management company in Boston is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their investment operations team. This hybrid position offers a base salary of $90k-$100k plus bonus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations for investment funds, ensuring accuracy of financial records.
- Reconcile cash, positions, and transactions, resolving discrepancies.
- Validate trade activity and corporate actions, ensuring proper accounting treatment.
- Assist in preparing financial statements, investor reports, and regulatory filings.
- Conduct research and analysis on accounting issues and regulatory changes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
- 2+ years of fund accounting experience.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles for investment structures.
- Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
