RFP Specialist – Investment Management

We are currently seeking candidates for a RFP Specialist opportunity with a highly successful investment management firm located in Boston, MA. The RFP Specialist will be involved with key client reporting responsibilities related to RFPs (Requests for Proposals), RFIs (Requests for Information), and DDQs (Due Diligence Questionnaires).  The ideal candidate will have 2-3+ years of related RFP, client reporting, or investment writing experience in financial services or investment management firm.

This is 3+ month contract opportunity, paying $34-$39/hour (depending on experience).

This role supports a hybrid work model (on-site 3 days and remote 2 days).

Responsibilities:

  • Support client reporting processes, coordinating RFPs (Requests for Proposals), RFIs (Requests for Information), and DDQs (Due Diligence Questionnaires).  
  • Draft, coordinate, revise, and proofread questionnaires related to fixed income, equity, and multi-asset strategies.
  • Collaborate with the investment product and fund strategies teams to create, revise, and improve the content of product-related questionnaires.
  • Develop original content for new offerings, and recommend updates to existing product text and content.
  • Build in-depth knowledge of assigned investment strategies or product suites to skillfully craft and enhance questionnaire responses.
  • Ensure that product-related content is consistently updated and maintained in the internal Qvidian content library.
  • Utilize internal Excel-based applications to generate reports and manage data effectively.
  • Assist with ad hoc requests, custom client reports, and data inquiries.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field.
  • 2-3+ years of RFP, RFI, and DDQ experience in financial services or investment management.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong knowledge of investment writing and fixed income or equity asset classes.
  • Attention to detail and ability to prioritize.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Previous experience with Qvidian (a plus).
  • Great time management, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
