Revenue Accounting Analyst
We are currently seeking candidates for Revenue Accounting Analysts at a software co. located in Downtown Boston, MA, 02111. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of Accounts Receivable and Revenue Accounting experience within SaaS.
These role(s) are temporary (est. 2.5 months) and will pay up to $80.00 (1099) per hour within a 40-hour work week.
2-3 days on-site per week!
Responsibilities:
- Review contract amendments and subscriptions to ensure accurate customer billing
- Create high value transactions such as usage-based invoices
- Confirm various customer billing terms and implement those conditions
- Maintain a working knowledge of all processes to support and guide internal stakeholders as needed
- Assist in month, quarter, and year end close cycles by reporting accurate data
- Partner with Revenue Accounting team to review or address revenue recognition concerns for non-standard deal structures
- Collaborate, provide advice, as well as deal insights to cross functional teams including Sales Ops, Legal, Billing, Finance, Risk and Systems
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Accounts Receivable and Revenue Accounting experience within SaaS
- Experience supporting and testing billing system improvements
- Intermediate Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Index Match, Sum If, etc.)
- Working knowledge of Salesforce is highly preferred
- Working understanding of ASC 606 and legal contract review is required
