Job Title: Revenue Accountant
Location: Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
Compensation: Up to $78K base salary (based on experience)

A large, publicly traded organization is seeking an enthusiastic Revenue Accountant to join its growing revenue accounting team. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and 0–2 years of experience. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain accounting systems, including journal entries, general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and revenue reconciliation.
  • Review and analyze financial reporting requirements, regulations, and rules.
  • Prepare core financial statements, such as profit and loss, cash flow, and balance sheets.
  • Develop and monitor monthly project revenue and expenditure reports.
  • Maintain accurate records of assets, liabilities, and other financial transactions.
  • Assist in establishing processes and procedures to track and report revenue, including deferred revenue, adhering to company revenue recognition policies.
  • Generate revenue reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Interpret financial reports to provide insights to managers and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure billing information compliance with US GAAP and other relevant accounting standards within financial systems.
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (required).
  • 0–2 years of professional accounting experience (internship experience is a plus).
  • Strong grasp of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting systems and financial software.
  • Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with US GAAP and revenue recognition policies (preferred).
