Job Title: Revenue Accountant
Location: Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
Compensation: Up to $78K base salary (based on experience)

Position Overview:
A large publicly traded company is seeking a dynamic Revenue Accountant to join its revenue accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and 0–2 years of experience. Candidates with multiple accounting internships and strong systems skills are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain accounting systems, including journal entries, general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and revenue reconciliation.
  • Review and interpret financial reporting requirements, rules, and regulations.
  • Prepare profit and loss statements, cash flow statements, and balance sheets.
  • Monitor and develop monthly revenue and expenditure reports for projects.
  • Maintain records of assets, liabilities, and other financial transactions.
  • Assist with the setup of processes and procedures to accurately capture, track, and report revenue, including deferred revenue, in compliance with company revenue recognition policies.
  • Generate revenue reports for internal and/or external stakeholders.
  • Interpret financial reports and records for managers and other stakeholders.
  • Review, track, and maintain billing information within financial systems, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and other accounting regulations.
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (required).
  • 0–2 years of professional accounting experience (multiple internships in accounting is a plus).
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting systems and financial software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  • Familiarity with US GAAP and revenue recognition policies is preferred.
