Marketing Specialist, Social Media
We are currently seeking candidates for a Marketing Specialist, Social Media opportunity with a highly successful Investment Management firm located in Boston, MA. The Marketing Specialist, Social Media will partner with internal teams and will play a key role in enhancing and promoting social media strategy, goals, and initiatives. The ideal candidate will have 1-2+ years of social media marketing experience. Experience in financial services, investment management, or similar industry highly preferred.
This is a 4+ month contract opportunity, paying between $25-$31/hour (depending on experience). This role supports a hybrid work model, consisting on 3 days on-site and 2 days remote/week.
Responsibilities:
- Update and manage social media content calendar on a daily basis
- Partner with global and regional writing, design, and digital teams regarding social posts and content on a daily/weekly basis
- Work with public relations team in prioritizing and promoting current and upcoming events, news, promotions, etc. via social media channels
- Deliver data and reporting on social media marketing performance
- Participate in monthly calls with LinkedIn representatives to discuss current campaigns, optimizations, new features, etc.
- Oversee Sprinklr Partnership and manage YouTube channel
- Oversee content syndication, monthly reporting reviews and read outs, and SharePoint site
- Drive social media strategy, goals, and initiatives, and manage social posts with internal partners (events, social strategy, conferences, etc.)
- Manage global paid social in-house via LinkedIn Campaign Manager: develop audiences, select and promote key content (podcasts, MTM), reporting dashboards, etc.
- Monitor social posts and ensure social content adheres to regulatory and compliance guidelines
- Collaborate with compliance on social media policies, procedures, and best practices
- Lead creative updates and refreshes, such as brand videos, new assets, and audio ads
- Oversee brand campaign landing page and insights page, managing ads in rotation
Qualifications:
- 1-2+ years of social media marketing experience ideally in financial services or investment management
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communication, or related field
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
- Familiarity with social media publishing tools and regulatory platforms such as SharePoint or Hearsay
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, Teams)
- Experience using social media management tools like Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprinklr, or Sprout Social
