Marketing Engagement Manager – Law firm – Boston, MA

We are seeking candidates for a Marketing Engagement Manager position with a highly prestigious law firm located in Boston, MA. The ideal candidate will have a strong marketing background with strong experience with developing and customizing marketing collateral. This position will work closely with the partners of the firm as they bring in new business, expand on existing business and attend networking and professional events and the digital marketing team on updating digital marketing collateral. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of marketing, analytical, and event planning experience. 

This is a permanent position that will pay a base salary of $90-100k (depending on experience). This position is required to be onsite 4 days/week in their Boston office. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Utilize diverse data sources to analyze, manage, and improve client experiences. Maintain and optimize the client relationship management (CRM) system to manage client profiles, generate mailing lists, track marketing activities, produce reports, and more.

  • Oversee daily CRM operations, ensuring system functionality and data accuracy by establishing effective processes and best practices. Serve as the primary resource for resolving technical issues, developing CRM solutions, and training staff on system usage.

  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance client interactions, including onboarding, scheduling and facilitating meetings, preparing materials and presentations, tracking follow-up actions, and overseeing client gifting programs.

  • Plan and execute client events, seminars, and receptions, handling all aspects such as themes, logistics, communication, budgeting, vendor coordination, and post-event follow-ups.

  • Design and manage a client feedback program, using collected insights to drive continuous improvements in the client experience.

  • Stay informed on industry events, conferences, and partnership opportunities. Conduct client research, monitor market trends, and assess emerging technologies and client-focused topics.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field

  • 5 – 7 years of marketing experience 

  • Proven experience in planning and managing events. 

  • Proficiency with CRM systems, client data processes, and manipulating multiple files for improved targeting and cross-referencing. 

  • Advanced Excel knowledge, including creating and modifying tables, utilizing formulas (e.g., IF, VLOOKUP), and working with pivot tables and non-numeric data.

  • Experience or familiarity in professional services, law firms, family offices, or the investment sector.

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. 

  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
