Marketing Associate – Boston, MA
We are looking for a Marketing Associate to join a leading investment management firm in Boston, MA. This role focuses on executing marketing strategies to strengthen relationships with financial intermediaries, advisors, and institutions across the U.S. The Marketing Associate will drive brand awareness, promote investment offerings, and enhance client engagement through strategic marketing initiatives.
The ideal candidate is proactive and collaborative, working closely with marketing, sales, and compliance teams. This is a 6+ month contract role, offering $40–$48 per hour (based on experience) for a 40-hour work week. The position follows a hybrid schedule, requiring three days onsite per week.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in crafting and implementing forward-thinking marketing strategies to enhance brand presence and business growth.
- Develop and execute innovative marketing plans that drive brand awareness and showcase the firm’s investment capabilities.
- Lead initiatives that foster meaningful engagement with clients and prospective customers.
- Track key marketing performance metrics to assess effectiveness and refine strategies.
- Research and analyze product trends, market competition, and distribution channels to provide strategic recommendations.
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitor offerings, and audience engagement preferences to enhance marketing efforts.
- Support the development of targeted messaging and outreach campaigns to strengthen brand positioning.
- Leverage multiple marketing channels, including product marketing, thought leadership, digital, email, social media, events, PR, and paid media.
- Manage budgets and internal resources efficiently, prioritizing high-impact initiatives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to provide data-driven insights, optimize marketing strategies, and evaluate campaign performance.
- Work closely with PR and corporate communications teams to ensure alignment and timely execution of marketing messages.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (required).
- 5 + years of marketing experience in financial services, preferably in asset management or U.S. wealth management.
- Deep understanding of intermediary marketing within investment management.
- Knowledge of the U.S. wealth marketplace, including key regulatory and legislative considerations.
- Proven track record in developing marketing initiatives that drive brand awareness and support sales growth.
- Proficiency with digital marketing tools, platforms, and technologies.
- Exceptional communication, project management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Creative, resourceful, and proactive in optimizing marketing strategies.
