Legal Billing Analyst
We are currently seeking candidates for a Legal Billing Analyst opportunity with a highly successful financial services firm located in Boston, MA. The Legal Billing Analyst will partner with the Legal Operations and Billing teams, and will be responsible for processing invoices, performing reporting, and triaging support tickets. The ideal candidate will have 3-5+ years of related legal billing experience. Proficiency in ONIT, PowerBI, and Tableau highly preferred.
This is a 4-5+ month contract opportunity, paying $40-$50/hour (depending on experience).
This role is based in Boston, MA, and will support a hybrid work-model (on-site 4 days/week).
Responsibilities:
- Partner with legal billing and legal operations team members in managing legal billing processes and delivery.
- Assist with processing monthly accruals, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Process invoices, triage support tickets, and perform reporting.
- Leverage analytics and additional resources to identify opportunities to improve processes and policies.
- Utilize ONIT, legal billing system, in performing day-to-day responsibilities.
- Provide additional support as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (required)
- 3-5+ years of relevant legal billing experience
- Great communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PPT, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience with PowerBI and Tableau
- ONIT legal billing system experience preferred
- Excellent time management, prioritization, and organization skills
