Corporate Finance Manager
A luxury beach resort located in South Florida is looking to bring on a Finance Manager to their growing team. As the Finance Manager, you will support the Senior Vice President in all accounting functions within the corporate office, including practices, policies, and procedures in compliance with GAAP. My client is seeking experienced Finance professionals with 4+ years of experience within the hotel industry.
Responsibilities:
- Provide financial reports to support management decision making
- Maintain internal control procedures, ensure compliance with GAAP, as well as federal, state, and local laws and regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure financial accuracy and alignment with organizational goals
- Prepare the annual budget, forecasts, and financial plans
- Oversee projects and initiatives, including financial modeling analysis
- Stay up-to-date on changes in accounting principles, regulations, and industry best practices and ensure compliance
Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- CPA preferred
- 4-6 years of accounting and finance experience within the hotel industry
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements
- Proficient in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
- Strong MS office skills
- Must be willing to be onsite 5 days/week
