Director of Disaster Recovery and Business Resiliency
Seeking a Director of Disaster Recovery for a Boston-based client. This role involves leading the firm’s Business Continuity Planning program and ensuring robust disaster recovery strategies, enabling swift operational recovery during crises.
Key Responsibilities:
- Govern and enhance Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery programs.
- Develop and execute disaster recovery plans and annual assessments.
- Partner with IT/business teams to design resilient systems (cloud-native focus).
- Conduct Business Impact Analyses and mitigate recovery gaps.
- Oversee emergency notification systems and IT due diligence processes.
- Lead after-action reviews to improve response and recovery plans.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 10+ years in disaster recovery, resiliency, or business continuity.
- Expertise in RPO/RTO, continuity planning, and impact analysis.
- Strong influencing skills across teams and stakeholders.
- Technical experience with cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) preferred.
- Excellent communication, project management, and problem-solving skills.
