Corporate Controller – Remote within EST Time – SaaS (Venture Focused)
Our team is working with a venture funded SaaS company looking to hire a Corporate Controller to their growing team due to a successful funding round. This individual will report directly to the CFO & Founder of the company. The ideal candidate will be coming out of a VC backed SaaS environment.
Responsibilities:

Oversee the preparation and presentation of accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with GAAP.

Ensure proper internal controls are in place to safeguard company assets, monitor financial performance, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Lead the quarterly and annual financial close process, including account reconciliations, journal entries, and variance analysis.

Develop and monitor key financial metrics, providing insights and recommendations to the CFO and executive team to improve financial performance.

Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions to ensure timely and accurate processing.

Support cash flow forecasting and capital management to ensure financial stability.

Provide financial data and analysis to support strategic decision-making, budgeting, and long-term financial planning.

Assist in preparing reports for investors, board members, and other stakeholders as needed.

Support due diligence, financial modeling, and reporting for mergers, acquisitions, and funding rounds.

Assist in preparing and reviewing financial projections and presentations for investors and board meetings.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

CPA is highly preferred

Experience in a high-growth, technology-driven environment, ideally within a Series A or B startup or SaaS company.

Familiarity with fundraising, venture capital, and stock-based compensation accounting is a plus.

Additional Reporting is a plus: ARR/MRR, LTM, Run Rate, Cash Flow, KPI Reporting, & CAC
