Controller/Finance Manager
A prominent resort and hospitality company located in Palm Beach County is seeking an experienced finance professional to join their team as a Finance Manager/Controller. This role will be responsible for supporting the Senior Vice President in all accounting functions within the corporate office, including practices, policies, and procedures in compliance with GAAP. The company is willing to pay up to $135k.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Establish and maintain accounting practices, policies, and procedures in compliance with accounting principles (GAAP).

Provide accurate and timely financial reports to support management decision-making processes.

Maintain acceptable internal control procedures designed to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with GAAP, as well as federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure financial accuracy and alignment with organizational goals.

Conduct financial analysis to identify and communicate opportunities for improvement and efficiency.

Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.

5+ years of experience in accounting or related fields.

Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and regulatory compliance.

Experience leading the audit process and managing a team of accounting staff.
