Controller
A luxury beach resort located in South Florida is looking to bring on a Controller to their growing team. As the Controller, you will oversee all accounting operations and reporting activities of the hotel, including maintaining accounting systems and records, preparing periodic financial reports, implementing internal control policies and procedures, and supervise the accounting staff. This is a fully onsite opportunity that will offer competitive compensation, excellent benefits, and room for growth.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day accounting operations of the hotel
- Organize and maintain the financial records and ensure accuracy
- Prepare financial reports to provide insights into the financial performance of the hotel
- Develop/maintain internal controls and procedures
- Coordinate the budget process and assist in developing projections for future financial performance
- Manage the audit process and prepare financial statements
Qualifications:
- Ba/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in accounting within the hotel industry
- Strong knowledge of GAAP
- Must be willing to be onsite 5 days/week
