Associate Director, Financial, Tax and Reporting (Hybrid, Boston)
A well renowned investment management company, located in Boston, is actively seeking a seasoned Finance and Tax professional to join their operations team! Reporting to CFO, this person ideally has 8-10+ years of tax and accounting experience within the financial services realm. Responsibilities and Qualifications:
- Work with the firm’s tax team to provide accurate, timely and complete information for preparation of tax returns
- Work cross-functionally with the Financial Accounting and Reporting team on matters related to investment accounting
- Responsible for the audits of the firm’s investments and the managed investment affiliates
- Experience with having direct reports is preferred
- 8-10+ years of asset management financial and tax accounting experience
- CPA strongly preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree or Higher in Accounting, Finance or related field
- Expertise in GAAP accounting requirements and tax rules and regulations as they apply to investment companies and private fund structures
- Must be willing to work onsite 2-3 days a week
