Accountant – New York, New York
We are currently seeking candidates for an Accountant position at a Private Equity firm based in NYC. This is a dedicated position for one of the firm’s largest clients. The ideal candidate has 2 years of Big 4 experience. CPA required.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare capital contribution and distribution calculations, management fee calculations, monthly cash reconciliations, expense schedules and income calculations
- Prepare the partnerships’ financial statements on a quarterly/annual basis
- All treasury functions, including wire inputs related to investments, expenses, etc.
- Prepare daily cash movement reports and periodic reconciliation reports
- Work across internal teams
Qualifications:
- BS in Accounting, CPA license is required
- 2+ years of experience in Big 4 Accounting
- Proficiency in building & maintaining Microsoft Excel spreadsheets
- Knowledge of Investran Live and Dynamo a plus
