FP&A Manager

A leading global financial services firm located in Boston, MA, is seeking a talented and experienced individual to join the finance team as an FP&A Manager. This position will report the Regional Finance Director, Americas and will be responsible for delivering the financial reporting, analysis, and planning services that will scale with the growth of the business. Responsibilities:

  • Lead/prepare budgeting and financial forecasting for the Americas businesses (US, Canada, Brazil and Cayman Islands)
  • Prepare monthly financial performance reporting, KPI’s and communications, including variance analysis, for commercial business leaders and their management teams
  • Primary point of contact with FP&A team on monthly recurring and ad hoc reporting deliverables, annual budget, and forecast submissions
  • Review and analyze financial data to identify risks, opportunities and trends to provide commercial business owners and senior leaders with financial analysis input that will help drive decision making
  • Develop new processes and new reports as enhancements are needed to deliver timely, accurate, actionable financial information and KPI’s
  • Synthesize big data – analyze and evaluate highly complex financial data; interpret data for the purpose of determining financial performance, financial trends and KPI’s

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting; MBA, Finance preferred
  • 4+ years financial reporting, planning and analysis experience, with providing financial support to sales, marketing, operations and onboarding/implementation teams
  • Super-user MS Office skills (Excel, i.e., pivot tables, VLOOKUP’s, sum/countIFs, conditional formatting and Power Point)
  • Power user with Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) software and SAP Hana S4/SAC (Firm is currently transitioning from HFM to SAP Hana S4/SAC)
  • Proven experience building financial models and scenario/sensitivity analysis
  • Experience working in an international environment a plus
