Business Systems Analyst – Asset Management – Boston, MA

Our client, a leading private alternative investment firm in Boston, MA, is seeking a Business Systems Analyst with experience with Salesforce integration coming out of a client reporting, buy-side group within a financial firm. The ideal candidate will be a Business Systems Analyst with 3-7 years of experience.

This is a full-time position offering a competitive base salary plus bonus.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work with users to collect, validate and document data, requirements, and reporting needs
  • Create documentation in support of business and technology requests (includes business/data requirements, data flows, data modeling, workflow context and design, and user interface designs)
  • Facilitate implementation of business requirements for all technology initiatives by acting as a liaison between business users and development resources for both large and small-scale changes
  • Provide continuous evaluation of technology solutions and capabilities to ensure alignment with business objectives. Identify areas of risk, while monitoring the current environment, potential improvement areas, and the financial implications of those decisions
  • Participate in user acceptance testing and provide system training / documentation
  • Become expert in various solutions used to support investor relations and deal CRM
  • Form strong working relationships with both business and technical teams
  • Fulfill responsibilities related to production support as well as application development projects simultaneously

TECHNOLOGY EXPERIENCE:

  • Salesforce experience required (Sales Cloud)
  • Understanding of agile development process and ability to run daily standups with internal and external resources
  • Experience with cloud integration platforms a plus
  • Experience with private markets, buy side, capital markets technology a plus
  • Experience with investor servicing, virtual data room and reporting tools a plus

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous experience in financial services working with Investor operations preferred
  • Bachelors or advanced degree in computer science, systems and/or finance
  • Salesforce Administrators certification or equivalent work experience required
  • Salesforce App Builders, Architects and Developers certification a plus
  • Experience with investor servicing tools like FIS DX, eFront, Altareturn etc a plus
  • Experience with iPaas cloud integrations like Workato, Zapier, Boomi, Mulesoft etc a plus
  • Experience with low code no code tools like Airtable, Smartsheets, Unqork etc a plus
  • Experience with SQL, reporting and visualization tools a plus
