CFO – Boston MA

A highly successful construction management company located in Boston is looking to hire CFO to their team. This firm works with luxury, multi-family and commercial residential property construction. They have built prestigious buildings in the city, condo complexes and hotels on Martha’s Vineyard. As the CFO, you will have two direct reports and focus on commercial projects, which can run as high as $60 Million.

This company is looking for a hands-on professional who will directly support the president in the following areas:

  • Execute financial management in the following areas: AR, cash management, job costing, scheduled reporting, tax filings, payroll, benefits, HR, annual audits and internal controls   
  • Develop scheduled financial reports and analyses that accurately illustrate the financial health of the construction projects and corporation
  • Oversee the accounting support team
  • Work in cooperation with the office manager to manage the administrative staff and the IT management services team
  • Meet with Project Managers to review job status and performance against the budget


  • Must be willing to be onsite in office 5 days/week
  • 10-20 years of experience as a Controller within the construction industry
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting
  • AIA billing experience
  • Cost to complete experience
  • Knowledge of Sage 300 (Timberline) and Procore
  • Proficiency in MS office suite
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills
