IT Director – Medical Device – Greater Philadelphia

We are currently conducting a search for an IT Director with a client of ours who is a leader in the medical device space in the Greater Philadelphia area. This candidate will be responsible for learning current systems and processes, helping with troubleshooting, and take the lead implementing our client’s next generation ERP System. To be qualified, you must be located in the Greater Philadelphia area and must be onsite.


  • Lead the identification for a new ERP system including gathering requirements and lead the designing, building, testing, and deploying processes of the new platform
  • Design, implement, and execute company roadmaps for the IT platform to support our client business initiative
  • Analyze, develop, and review application modifications, business system processes and reporting tools with an emphasis on developing end-user sufficiency
  • Deliver leadership and guidance for the IT department, and mentor team members ensuring work-life balance is maintained and morale stays at a high level
  • Monitor IT performance within issue resolution, downtime, and other metrics
  • Develop a program for ERP System enhancement and administration within the IT team and throughout the company
  • Protect the integrity and confidentiality of our client’s information including all appropriate efforts of security and changing control processes to protect the systems and data contained in them


  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
  • 5 years of professional experience working with ERP/MRP Systems
  • Microsoft Great Plains Dynamics skills is a plus
  • Strong ability to quickly understand business processes across the firms’ domains
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be able to present technical information to a non-technical audience
  • Professional experience working with a DevOps setting successfully implementing ERP, CRM, and/or VMS Systems
    • Includes 2 full cycles of gathering requirements and vendor selection
  • Experience managing a variety of IT teams such as help desk, network engineering, and system administration teams
  • Strong professional skills with MS Office software (MS O365)
  • Professional experience with MS Power BI or another business intelligence platform
  • Desire to implement new technologies and reporting tools
