IT Manager – Manufacturing – Manchester, NH
Daley And Associates is currently seeking a highly motivated and organized IT Manager to join our team. This role will play a key role in managing ERP and IT systems to support business operations, particularly in manufacturing. The IT Manager will ensure that technology solutions align with business objectives, optimize operations, and integrate ERP systems with other cross-functional technologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. This role will have occasional travel to the North Shore of Boston office.
This role will pay a base salary up to $140K.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute IT strategies aligned with business objectives and corporate goals in collaboration with senior management.
- Lead and manage the IT team, setting clear objectives and performance standards.
- Oversee the administration, optimization, and integration of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) to enhance business processes.
- Manage Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and SCADA systems, ensuring proper integration for real-time data collection, process control, and reporting.
- Maintain and enhance IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and storage solutions, ensuring reliability, security, and performance.
- Oversee deployment, management, and maintenance of hardware and software applications across the division.
- Ensure timely and effective IT support, overseeing the Helpdesk team to resolve issues related to hardware, software, and network access.
- Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and analyze service level agreements (SLAs) to improve IT service quality.
- Lead IT projects with well-defined timelines, resource planning, and risk management strategies in collaboration with vendors, consultants, and internal teams.
- Implement and oversee disaster recovery, business continuity, and cybersecurity measures, ensuring data security and compliance.
- Develop reporting and data solutions to support business decision-making.
- Provide training programs for end-users to maximize the efficiency of IT systems.
- Maintain comprehensive IT documentation, including processes, procedures, and user guides.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in IT leadership roles.
- Strong experience managing ERP systems in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven ability to lead IT teams and manage cross-functional projects related to ERP and shop floor IT systems.
- Experience working in a public company with SOX compliance is a plus.
- Excellent project management skills, including budgeting, resource planning, and risk management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization.
