Senior Marketing Specialist
We are currently seeking candidates for a Senior Marketing Specialist opportunity with a highly successful organization located in Burlington, MA. The Senior Marketing Specialist will support go-to-market (GTM) and solutions marketing efforts, creating and enhancing marketing strategies and content intended to drive sales and revenue across multiple markets. The ideal candidate will have 5-8+ years of related marketing experience (including strong B2B experience).
This is a 12-month contract opportunity, paying $35-$40/hour (depending on experience). This role supports a hybrid work-model (on-site 3 days and remote 2 days/week).
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with internal marketing and function as a key subject matter expert for marketing related to assigned business lines.
- Collaborate closely with sales teams to develop a strategic marketing plan intended to promote sales objectives and drive business.
- Partner with the Digital Marketing team to craft content for various marketing channels and tracking tools, ensuring alignment with program goals across industry events, seminars, webinars, digital marketing, and both online and offline advertising initiatives.
- Track, evaluate, and report on campaign performance, using data and analytics to refine and enhance future strategies.
- Partner with customer-facing sales teams to collect insights on market trends and customer needs, continuously seeking feedback to ensure that marketing materials stand out and effectively engage target audiences.
- Create compelling and tailored value propositions along with supporting materials based on segment-specific strategies, which may include sales tools, feature articles, blog posts, presentations, sales training resources, infographics, case studies, and content for web pages.
- Oversee the marketing development process, including drafting creative briefs, communicating the strategic approach and execution requirements to internal or external teams, and managing production timelines to ensure timely delivery.
- Conduct customer interviews to thoroughly understand the customer journey, identifying key pain points and opportunities for improvement within different market segments.
- Support special project as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication, or related field (required).
- 5-8+ years of related marketing experience for B2B organizations.
- Previous experience working in telecommunication, wireless communication, or related industry strongly preferred.
- Strong experience leveraging various marketing tools to create, update, and maintain marketing collateral for digital and print campaigns.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
