Senior Fund Accountant – Boston – Hybrid (3 days in office) – Base Salary up to $115k + bonus
A premier asset management firm located in Boston is hiring a Senior Fund Accountant. The ideal candidate has 2-4 years of experience in a public accounting firm or a fund and has exposure to private credit. The firm offers substantial room for growth.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review financial statements, fund performance reports, and investor capital account statements
- Support with the day-to-day accounting operations for investment funds
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies, including tax filings and audits
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual financial reports for stakeholders and investors
- Collaborate with portfolio management and investment teams to analyze fund performance and assess valuation methodologies
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting required
- CPA strongly preferred
- Experience with private credit clients
