Contracts Counsel – Financial Services – Boston, MA – Hybrid
A premier financial services firm is seeking a Contracts Counsel with 5+ years of experience to join their team. Responsibilities include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of commercial contracts and NDAs across multiple departments.
Responsibilities:
- Draft, negotiate, and review a range of commercial contracts and NDAs (SaaS, cloud services, market data, consulting, data protection, etc.).
- Provide counsel on contract disputes and collaborate with senior leadership to resolve issues and reach settlements.
- Develop a strong understanding of each department's risk tolerance, and create and maintain standardized contract terms and templates.
- Identify and mitigate legal and business risks in commercial contracts, contributing to policy initiatives and overseeing high-profile vendor relationships.
- Advise on general corporate matters, including privacy.
Qualifications:
- JD, 5+ years of experience at a law firm or financial services firm
