Sonographer III (Weekends)
Our client, an award-winning hospital with a standout radiology team, is currently seeking a Weekend Sonographer III to join their group. This person will work in concert with the radiologists 3 days per week (2 weekend days + 1 weekday) to obtain high quality ultrasound images and provide exceptional patient care. This is an FTE opportunity with full benefits.
Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED, required. Graduate of AMA-approved RT program preferred.

At least one year of experience in Sonography, preferred.

ARDMS certification in Pediatric Sonography or Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) required.

Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing

Good communication skills

Capable of functioning alone in diagnostic rooms

Working knowledge of various types of ultrasound equipment

Able to adapt to new and various situations and procedures

Ability to interpret information to identify each patient’s requirements for care relative to his/her specific needs.
