Vice President of Project Management??????
We are currently seeking candidates for a Vice President of Project Management-Engineering at an engineering firm in Midtown, NY, 10036. The ideal candidate will have 7 to 10+ years in project management in the HVAC, construction, or related industry.
This individual will lead a talented team responsible for managing complex HVAC projects from initiation through completion
Compensation: Up to $185K
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee a team of project managers, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback to ensure project goals and team development.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring that each project is executed efficiently and meets client specifications.
- Apply engineering knowledge to identify and resolve technical issues in HVAC design, installation, and maintenance.
- Align on project goals, communicate progress, and handle any changes in scope or schedule.
- Identify potential risks early in the project lifecycle and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful project completion.
- Track and report on project KPIs, ensuring that projects meet quality, budgetary, and timeline objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or HVAC-related field preferred).
- 7 to 10+ years of experience in project management in the HVAC, construction, or related industry.
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, equipment, and engineering principles.
- Proven experience managing complex projects, with certification in PMP.
- MS Project, Primavera) and engineering design tools (e.g., AutoCAD).
- Ability to present complex information effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
