Our client is a global medical technology business that supports healthcare professionals in more than 100 countries, is currently seeking a Life Sciences Recruiter to join their team. This is a contract position through January 2019 with the possibility of extension.

Job Description

The Life Sciences Recruiter will be responsible for developing, promoting and executing complex talent acquisition strategies alongside hiring managers to support business objectives for the team. Key responsibilities include:

  • Pair with hiring managers to understand the business objectives for the team and create a hiring strategy to satisfy their needs, and understand the value of the unique propositions of each position and evaluate for key qualities of successful candidates
  • Invest in understanding unique company and industry strategic objectives, technical challenges, and complexities
  • Become an expert on selling the company story, the exciting challenges our engineers get to tackle every day and an unbeatable culture
  • Collaborate and effectively utilize the talent pipelining and events team to discover candidates for roles
  • Maintain communications and correspondence with candidates, ensuring all candidates receive feedback and a positive experience throughout the process
  • Network internally to solicit referrals and maintain engagement
  • Build interview kits for effective evaluation using your knowledge of the needs of the business to be used by all interviewers in each role
  • Participate in and present company-wide interview trainings


  • 4 year college degree required
  • 7+ years of full life cycle Life Sciences recruiting experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in light industrial and/or commercial, full-cycle recruiting
  • Filled/researched positions related to Biology, Chemistry and Quality Assurance based positions
  • Facilitate, guide and maintain direct communication with candidates through the hiring process
  • Must be self-motivated, competitive, and able to multi-task
