Our Client, one of the largest Insurance Companies is seeking a Financial Operations Representative to join their team in Plymouth Meeting. The Company has over 800 offices worldwide and is ranked on the Fortune 100 list as one of the largest corporations in the U.S. 

Job Description: 
The Financial Operations Representative will be responsible for the following: 
•    Provide exceptional customer service by communicating via telephone and in writing with external and internal customers 
•    Analyze and reconcile agent/broker accounts 
•    Ensure all transactions are documented in the appropriate system 
•    Research and resolve discrepancies 
•    Build relationships with agents/brokers and internal departments 
•    Evaluate and make decisions using critical thinking skills to solve problems 
•    Manage and utilize time effectively as well as assist others on the team 
•    Input data and maintain logs for recording and tracking transactions 
•    Monitor and ensure compliance with policy and procedures; identify trends in activities and outcomes 
•    Participation in month-end closing activities 
•    Perform cash application and cash disbursements processes and transactions, ensuring accuracy of data as assigned 
•    Participate in and/or lead special projects as requested

Requirements: 
•    Associates Degree in Business/Accounting. Bachelor’s preferred 
•    Minimum 2+ years working in an accounting role, with a preference of Accounts Receivable. Will also consider Accounts Payable or other transactional accounting experience 
•    Strong customer service skills and experience 
•    Strong math skills with knowledge of general accounting principles 
•    Must have superior written and verbal communication skills, and ability to communicate clearly and effectively with external and internal customers 
•    Ability to identify and resolve issues and present information in a clear manner 
•    Proficiency with MS Office with a demonstrated knowledge of working with spreadsheets (Excel), Previous Financial Application System experience preferred 
•    Lawson experience is preferred
