Domestic Recruitment Manager
A Boston-area technology company seeks a Domestic Recruiting Manager to handle day-to-day recruitment and talent acquisition. The Domestic Recruiting Manager will collaborate with senior executives and stakeholders to identify the talent needed throughout the organization, and will also take charge of developing the hiring strategy needed to place the right people.
The Domestic Recruiting Manager will also manage a team of recruiters, paying attention to the skills development of individual team members and developing the team’s capabilities to find and recruit professionals. Providing mentorship, working with line management to create strategies, and evaluating new tools and recruiting resources are also key parts of the job. The Domestic Recruiting Manager will also document and maintain compliance with recruiting processes, and coordinate with line management to carry out, evaluate, and refine these processes as needed.
Key requirements for the position include 6-10 years’ experience recruiting highly technical professionals on a national scale. Candidates should also have spent 3 or more years in a leadership or management position, with a specific focus on developing a highly productive recruitment process. Organization and communication skills are essential, as are the abilities to function both tactically and strategically. This is a direct-hire position with a salary in the $120,000 – $150,000 range.
An internationally-leading, highly-regarded brand name in consumer services seeks a Corporate Controller to lead a team of three direct reports and 30 professionals who support global corporate and consolidated reporting. The Corporate Controller works closely with the SVP Finance and the international controllers, especially during monthly/quarterly consolidation.
The Corporate Controller must have experience with a Big-4 accounting firm that includes advancing, over 5-8 years, to a management position. This experience must also include work in complex multi-entity consolidation and a position with Controller responsibilities. Overall, the Corporate Controller should have 15-20 years’ experience, with at least 5 of the most recent years spent as an Assistant Controller or Controller with a firm exceeding $500 million in revenues.
Key requirements for the position include a BS or MS in Accounting (an MBA is a plus); a CPA with several years of Big-4 experience and strong/complex GL and technical/GAAP expertise. Top candidates must have international multi-currency experience, know US GAAP/IFRS, and have a public/private industry profile. Desired qualities include experience in large multi-entity corporate consolidation and Hyperion. This is a direct-hire position with a salary in the $175,000 – $210,000 range.
