Mike Daley has distinguished himself in the executive search and contract staffing industry since 1982. A Boston native, Mike began his career at Robert Half International (RHI) where he was consistently recognized as the top executive recruiter nationally and was promoted to national director in 1990. Following his time at RHI, Mike served as President of the international recruiting firm, Vedior Professional Services (VPS), which included AccountPros, HRi, Ingenium Resources and Stone Legal Resources. During his tenure, Mike transformed a one-office, $1 million company, into a $100 million professional services organization, with 14 offices nationwide.
In 2005, Mike pooled his extensive personal and professional network and business acumen to start Daley And Associates, LLC. Along with long time colleague Hank Phillips, Mike founded Daley And Associates with the focus of building a more relationship-driven model for executive search and contract staffing. As president, Mike specializes in personally introducing finance, accounting, banking, investment, and legal talent to a variety of successful firms ranging from emerging businesses to Fortune 100 companies. Mike still runs a desk and is involved hands-on in the deals at Daley And Associates. His passionate and interpersonal approach to staffing permeates the corporate culture at Daley And Associates.
Mike graduated with honors from Stonehill College.
Shawn Flaherty brings more than 15 years of business and contract staffing experience to Daley And Associates. Shawn has worked in temporary and contract staffing for over 10 years in Massachusetts, with Robert Half International and Vedior Professional Services. As a result, Shawn brings a breadth of staffing knowledge and a strong, well-established network of professional contractors and temps. Prior to his staffing industry experience, Shawn spent more than 8 years as a partner in a private equity firm that specialized in leveraged buyouts for its own account, venture-backed investments and public company investing through a hedge fund controlled by the firm.
Shawn earned his MBA in Finance from Wake Forest University and his Bachelor of Arts from St. Mary’s College of California.
Chuck Abba is the Division Manager of Daley And Associates’ Executive Search practice specializing in Accounting and Finance. Prior to joining the Daley team, Chuck worked with one of the world’s most prestigious law firms, WilmerHale, LLP. At WilmerHale, he developed firsthand knowledge of the legal profession and gained a unique perspective of the intricacies of a world class organization. Chuck works with clients to place accounting, financial and legal talent across all industries. In addition to bringing practical experience to Daley And Associates, he is a competitive spirit whose hands-on approach is extremely beneficial to his clients and candidates.
Chuck earned his Bachelor of Arts from Williams College. He was a member of the 2003 Williams College Basketball National Champions. Outside of the office, Chuck supports Habitat for Humanity and the Middlesex Magic AAU basketball program.
Westly Tyrrell is a Senior Associate in the Daley And Associates Executive Search practice specializing in Accounting and Finance. Prior to becoming one of Boston’s most senior accounting and finance recruiters, Westly was a Big 4 CPA, and worked with PricewaterhouseCoopers for more than three years auditing private and public companies. Westly then moved from public accounting into banking for nearly a decade, and worked with State Street and Fleet banks before transitioning to executive search. Since 1994, Westly has been advising, guiding, and placing accounting and finance professionals in the Greater Boston area.
He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania and earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from the Wharton School of Business. Outside of the office, Westly has worked with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Children’s Hospital Council, the Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children, Wang Center Metropolitans, American Cancer Society and the Boys and Girls Club in Manchester, NH.
Rob Daley is an Associate in the Daley And Associates Executive Search practice specializing in Accounting and Finance. Rob’s proven ability to thrive in a fast paced and results-oriented work environment gives him a distinct competitive advantage. Prior to joining Daley And Associates, Rob gained valuable experience working as an Associate Commercial Real Estate Broker at Colliers International. In this role, Rob consulted with clients in the leasing, sale, disposition, and acquisition of the Boston real estate market. As a recruiter, Rob is able to utilize his past work experience along with his excellent communication skills to effectively understand and advise both his clients and candidates.
Rob earned his Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Connecticut College. Outside of the office, Rob sits on the Board of Advisors for the Charlestown YMCA.
Peter Coppinger works as the Legal Recruitment Manager in the Daley And Associates Executive Search practice that specializes in Legal placements. Peter has over 20 years of experience as an attorney and has worked at both government and at private firms. The breadth of Peter’s legal knowledge combined with his substantial network has given him the ability to offer insight into every aspect of the legal field and its best practices. Prior to bringing his talents to Daley And Associates, Peter worked as a Partner at Gadsby Hannah, McCarter & English, and Looney & Grossman. Peter has also worked as an Assistant Attorney General for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Peter’s extensive background and expertise in the legal field allows him to provide detailed, informed, and valuable guidance to his clients and candidates.
Peter earned his J.D. from the University of Notre Dame and his Bachelor of Arts from Harvard University where he was captain of the Varsity Football team. In 2004, 2013 and 2014, Peter was named to Boston Magazine’s list of Super Lawyers.
Reyna Plana is an Associate in the Executive Search division specializing in Accounting and Finance at Daley and Associates. Reyna recently relocated back to the Northeast after spending a year abroad teaching English in Barcelona, Spain at Llar d’en Pitus. Reyna’s experience overseas offered her the chance to build a diverse and valuable professional repertoire. While in college, Reyna worked as a Senior Interviewer for prospective students as part of their admissions process, where she first discovered her interest and talent in recruiting. Reyna’s vast skill set and strategic approach is a great advantage to her candidates. Reyna’s driven and dedicated personality will allow her to excel at Daley and Associates.
Reyna graduated from Brandeis University with her Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology and International Relations and minors in Latin American Studies, Hispanic Studies, and Women/Gender Studies.
Manny joins the Daley team as an Associate Recruiter in the Accounting & Finance Executive Search team. Previous to Daley, he worked at Barton Associates as an Account Manager, where he focused on building and maintaining lasting relationships with clients and gained valuable knowledge of the recruitment and staffing industry. For the past 3 years, Manny has also worked for the Boston Red Sox, providing security during the games. Go Sox!
Manny graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Anna Maria College, where he played football all 4 years.
Chris is an Associate in the Executive Search division specializing in Accounting and Finance. Prior to joining the Daley team, Chris enjoyed a successful career coaching college football at the Ivy League level. In addition, he served as the Recruiting Coordinator at Brown University for many years; he has valuable experience in recruitment and talent acquisition.
Chris graduated from Union College with a Bachelor of Arts in History. While at Union, he was a two-year captain of the football team and earned All-American honors during his senior year.
Howie Gorman is a Senior Associate in the Daley And Associates Contract Staffing Practice specializing in Accounting, Finance, and Administration. With almost a decade and a half of experience at some of the world’s largest financial services companies, he brings an in-depth understanding of the roles and the companies he supports with staffing services. Howie’s previous work experience with State Street Bank, Manulife Financial, John Hancock, and Fidelity Investments has given him the insight and knowledge to be one of Daley And Associate’s most effective recruiters.
Howie was the second professional to join Daley’s contract staffing practice, and has directly impacted the current success of Daley and Associates. Howie’s financial industry experience combined with his decade of recruiting experience makes him one of the most knowledgeable staffing recruiters in New England.
Howie earned his Bachelor of Science in Finance from Northeastern University and his Master’s degree in Business Administration in Information Systems from Suffolk University.
Peter Kulturides is a Senior Associate in the Daley And Associates Contract Staffing practice specializing in Accounting, Finance, and Administration. Peter was with Daley And Associates when it was founded in 2005, and has since rejoined the team bringing both his fresh experiences and several years of tenure. Peter started his career at Robert Half International (RHI) where he placed accounting and finance professionals from entry level positions through the C-suite. After his time at RHI, Peter went to Vedior Professional Services (VPS) where he worked as the National Director of Sales and Training. In this role, Peter developed, staffed and launched the Accounting and Operations division nationally with 22 sales professionals.
Peter went on to work as the Director of Business Development for Radius Financial Compliance Group where he utilized his strong managerial and teamwork skills to grow and enhance the business. Upon his return to Daley And Associates, Peter currently focuses on placing professionals in the fields of finance, accounting, and administration from entry level to executive positions. Peter has over 16 years of diverse experience in the recruiting industry, and has therefore acquired the network, work ethic, and communication skills needed to successfully grow his own business and make effective and lasting placements.
Peter earned his Associates Degree from Newbury College.
Brian Daley is an Associate in the Daley And Associates Contract Staffing Practice specializing in Accounting, Finance, and Administration. Prior to joining the Daley team on a full time basis, Brian interned with Daley And Associates for two years while he was in college. Brian has the unique advantage of understanding the current technology and social search trends that are vital to today’s job market. Brian’s ambitious and goal-driven personality has allowed him to quickly establish an impressive track record of successful placements. Brian is consistently providing clients and candidates with thoughtful feedback, new opportunities, and tremendous results.
Brian earned his Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts from Union College where he was a member of the two time co-liberty league champion Football team. He was also one of 50 students in the student class selected to speak at Union’s annual scholarly student ceremony.
Alexandra Powell is an Associate in the Contract Staffing practice specializing in Accounting, Finance, and Administration. Alexandra’s strong sales and marketing background translates to her acute understanding of people and ability to manage client and candidate interface. Prior to joining Daley and Associates as a recruiter, Alexandra interned at Schneider Associates where she was involved in brand marketing solutions, lead generation, market research, business development, and content marketing. Alexandra’s vast network and focused approach to developing her professional relationships is an asset to the Daley and Associates team.
Alexandra graduated with her Masters of Science in Integrated Marketing from Lassell College and her Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of Massachusetts.
Lindsey has a strong background in client relations, networking, communication and recruiting for prominent American conglomerates all over the country. She has worked for Congressman Jim Langevin of the House of Representatives, LibbyHoopes LLC, and most recently at Motion Recruitment Partners. In each of these roles, Lindsey was responsible for managing candidate and constituent relationships, problem solving, and handling escalations all while working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. She successfully placed more than a handful of high level candidates on the West and East coast in entry level and mid-level IT/Non-IT positions. Lindsey has been recognized for her exceptional professionalism and her ability to provide a unique recruiting experience to everyone she works with.

Division Manager Technology Practice
Angela joined the Daley and Associates team as the Division Manager of the IT Executive Search and Contract Staffing groups. She is a seasoned sales professional with over 20 years of experience working with Fortune 500 companies. For the past 13 years she has been a top producing Senior Account Executive in the IT consulting and recruiting space. She is adept in utilizing needs-assessment/solution techniques to expand relationships across highly matrixed national organizations, as well as local small to mid-sized companies. Angela is a proven leader and team player with the ability to direct, motivate, and mentor others.
Angela graduated from Purdue University with a BA in English and Sociology.
Kenny Williams is a Senior Associate in the IT Consulting practice at Daley and Associates. Kenny joins the team with 5+ years of account management and recruiting experience with a strong focus in both the Information Technology and Financial Services sectors. Before Daley and Associates, Kenny was a Business Development/Recruiting Manager prospecting new businesses and managing existing client relationships in Rhode Island and Southern Massachusetts, in addition to managing a team of recruiters. Kenny also spent 4+ years at two national staffing firms as a Senior IT Recruiter and Account Manager. Kenny is an ambitious and dedicated professional whose focus on establishing lasting partnerships between leading organizations and technology professionals serves as a key advantage to both his clients and candidates. Kenny’s sales driven background allows him to understand and anticipate client needs, and subsequently thrive as a recruiter.

Christyn Thatcher is the Chief Financial and Chief Operating Officer for Daley And Associates and is responsible for all non-sales activities. Christyn is an original member of the senior management team at Daley And Associates. Prior to joining the Daley team, Christyn spent 8 years elevating to the role of National Director of Administration and Operations for the North American Professional Services Division of the world’s second largest staffing company. Christyn has over 16 years of progressive financial, technology and operations management experience within the search and staffing industry. Christyn’s extensive skill set, communication skills, and leadership experience make her a highly valued and crucial member of the Daley And Associates team.
In 2013, Christyn was honored as “CFO of the Year” by the Boston Business Journal.
Natalie Berwald works as the Operations Administrator at Daley and Associates, LLC. Natalie handles a number of HR responsibilities, external payroll and billing, client relations, and operational support for the firm and its employees. Prior to joining the team full time, Natalie began her time at Daley and Associates as an intern, working directly with the marketing and sales team to contribute valuable content to the firm’s marketing and communication initiatives. During her undergraduate career at Lasell College, Natalie worked as an Office Assistant in the Student Accounts Office. Natalie’s exceptional communication and marketing skills, along with her extensive experience in office administration, have made her in integral addition to the Daley and Associates team.
Natalie graduated from Lasell College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management and a minor in Sports Communication. She is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Marketing Communication.
External Payroll Coordinator
Rebecca Siteman-Chu works as the external payroll coordinator at Daley And Associates. Rebecca is responsible for all back office payroll and billing operations and handles the support of all Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, Legal, and Administrative staffing. She ensures that every contractor that we employ is paid accurately and on time. She manages the weekly billing for all staffing clients and brings expertise to Daley And Associates in the areas of compliance and employee record management. Prior to joining Daley And Associates, Rebecca was responsible for the billing and payroll operations for the professional services division of the world’s second largest staffing firm.
Rebecca graduated from the University of Massachusetts at Boston where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree.
